2008 World Pork Expo in Des Moines

Ashley and Ryan got to show pigs for the 1st time. Even Honey got to go for a couple of days. Ashley got 2nd, 5th and 8th place. Ryan got 9th place. Daddy got Grand Champion Spot Boar and Reserve Champ Duroc. His boar sold for $9000 to a boar stud and another boar stud followed him home on Saturday and bought 3 more. Daddy was pretty happy.

Here's Ryan with his pig. He got pretty attached to him. He didn't want his pig to have to go to the truck and be taken away.

I took the kids to the Machine Shed for dinner one night. We had a great meal!
