Pioneer participated in the Lighted Christmas Parade this year in Cherokee. Jacob joined me in the parade and we got to hand out candy. It was so fun!

First game of the season, Ryan wins the tip at the start of the game, goes down the court and in for a shot, gets fouled and makes both free throws. Headed back down the court, 20 seconds into the game Ryan fouls a player, falls and lands on his thumb breaking his thumb.
It was not how any of us planned for the season to go especially for Ryan as he has worked so hard in the off season to prepare. He will be out 4-6 weeks.
Ryan ended up breaking the same thumb he did in 2015.
Ryan was asked by KCHE to fill in for John O'Conner on the radio announcing the boys game at Ridge View in Holstein. He did a great job!

Ryan was named Honorable Mention All Conference in Football. Here are all of the award winners. Congratulations Ryan!! We are so proud of all of your accomplishments!

The Braves got free tickets to a UNI basketball game. They all had a great time! Jake and Cooper were able to join too.

Mom's Surgery
October 31st, 2017 my mom had to have a double mastectomy surgery in Sioux Falls for the BRCA1 gene. She is the strongest woman that I know and went in with a positive attitude and always with her joking personality. :-) Love you Mom!
