Hurd Show Pig Sale 2009

On Saturday Daddy had his 2nd Annual Hurd Show Pig sale at our farm. The weather turned out pretty good, a little cool but much better than the wind and snow that was predicted last Monday. We had a good turnout and the sale was a great success.

Etnier Visit

This weekend we went with Gramma Ginny, Grampa Mike and Chewy to stay at Aunt Rachael and Uncle Lon's house. We had a great time!!

Here's Ryan and Jacob getting a ride in the JD Combine. When we got to the house Ryan commented to me that the windows were so clean it was like you were outside, you couldn't tell there were windows. I thought he meant Rachael's house windows but he meant on all of Lon's tractors! Rachael said Lon gets to wash the windows in the house next time :-)

Ashley's Band Concert

Last Tuesday was Ashley's 1st Band Concert.

Here is Ashley with one of her best friends Kendra.

Here is the 5th Grade Band. I told her when we walked in the gym and saw 10 chairs set up that I remember in my high school we had 120 in band! Quite a difference... They did a great job and nobody played on the rests.All done - take a bow.

Hartley Basketball Tournament

Today was Ashley's last basketball tournament and it was in Hartley. They were the 5th grade Champions!! Congratulations girls! They played SO great. It was a lot of fun to watch. Ashley did really good at defense, stole the ball quite a few times and had a big basket.

It was extra special today because my cousin's daughter was playing for Spencer in the 6th grade girls tournament. So we got to watch her games too. It was great to see them!
