Hailey's Basketball game

Today we went over to Storm Lake to watch our cousin Hailey play in a 5th grade bball tournament. She did Great! Their team won the 1st 3 games of the day and were in the championship game this afternoon. We had to get Jacob home for a nap so hopefully they won the last game too!

While we were in Storm Lake, Ryan went with daddy and had a really fun day. He ran the skidloader at Bappa's, looks like they had a calf today and built a snowman!

Left or Right?

Left or right hand? Not sure... Today was the 1st time Jacob got to use a spoon to eat. First he used his left hand, then he switched to his right. Then he threw the spoon on the floor and ate the food with his fingers!

Weekend Update

Today was the last basketball game for the MMC 4th grade girls team. They played in a tournament in Correctionville today where they kept score and had fouls, traveling etc. called. Other games they have gotten away with a lot more and the girls kept score on their own. (so they won most all of their games according to Ashley) :-)
It was a very tough day. The 1st team they played, Lawton Bronson, beat them 24 to 9 and the 2nd team they played beat them 9 to 5. Yes 9 to 5 was the score for the entire game!
But there is always next season!

When I came home from work on Friday, Ryan was out clearing our driveway with the skidloader. Mommy thinks he might be too little yet to be driving but daddy says it's just fine. ? Ryan loves it!

The basketball season is winding down - 1 more game to go. Here are the girls.

Brent and Ryan enjoy watching their sisters play. Actually they have more fun running through the hallways at the different schools and shooting baskets during halftime.
Aunt Rachael came to see Ashley play and she even got a pedicure and manicure out of the deal!
It was a great weekend. We even got Gramma Ginny away from the shop for 1 day to go shopping with us in Sioux City. It was a lot of fun. Hope everyone had a good weekend and have a great week!
