Today I took the boys to Arnolds Park with the Pitts Family.  It was the most beautiful day, perfect weather, no lines and we had SO much fun!!

Looking foward to going back next year!

Jake Picking Onions

Mark asked Jake to go out to the garden and pick him an onion for dinner.  So out he went.  Jake calls it "the guessing game" when he gets to pick onions because you never know what you are going to get - a big one or a small one or what!  So here is Jake picking onions in his underwear and work boots.  Too funny!

Braces

Braces Day!  Today Ryan got braces and also a metal spacer bar that goes across the roof of his mouth which makes it very difficult for him to eat or talk.  Poor guy, it's been quite a summer for him with surgery and braces!

Ryan's Surgery

Surgery Day - Today Ryan got his tonsils, adenoids and a spur from his nose removed.  Here he is just after coming into his room.  He is very nervous as are mom and dad.

Relief after the much dreaded IV was put in.  He had the nurse spray something that felt like frostbite which dulled the area when the needle went in.  He was a trooper and did so great!

After surgery - very sleepy and exhausted.  We stayed at the hospital for about 2 hrs then headed home.  Glad to have it over, it will be a rough couple of days but will be all worth it in the end when he can breathe!
