Trip to California

California!!
Ashley flew out to CA with gramma Ginny and Shirley and stayed there for 3 weeks to attend Coach Jo's basketball camp and keep Candi company. Ryan and I flew out to bring her home. Here are some pictures from the trip. Hope you enjoy.
Here are my little surfers!
A little sand in the shoes.
Candi & Brian rented a beach bike to ride around in one day with Ashley.
Ashley, Candi & Brian hiked 4 1/2 miles to the Hollywood sign.
Candi & Ashley went to Sea World. Here is a picture from the Shamu show.

Here's the group outside of Candi & Brian's house. They have a beautiful home.
Picture with Brian's mom Stella aka Oma and Harmony (korean for mom and grandma)
Ash & gramma Ginny goofing around on the plane ride.
On Monday Candi and I got to spend the day in Burbank, Hollywood and LA. Here we drove around the Hollywood Hills and got a picture by the famous Hollywood sign.
Candi got us tickets to be in the audience at the Tonight Show with Jay Leno!!! It was SO fun!! Guest stars were Howie Mandel and musical performer Mike Posner. We sat by Mike Posner's parents and best friends from high school. It was pretty neat.
Going in to the Jay Leno Show!
On Saturday night Brian's mom took us all out to eat for Mexican food. The chimichangas were gianormous! Great food!
We spend Saturday at DISNEYLAND!!!!
Ryan and Brian waiting for Candi and Ash to ride the Raiders of the Lost Ark ride.
Toy Story Ride!
Loving Disneyland!
They have fantastic frozen yogurt shops where you can pick several different flavors and tons of different toppings. Yum!
At the beach - loving California!!
My Surfer Girl
Hanging out at the Del Mar beach. Notice the Baywatch lifeguard post behind us. He had a group of girls all around him and sometimes him and the other lifeguard would take a surf board out to a lifeguard boat out in the ocean.
A little chilly but so much fun!
Here are the kids in the ocean.
Getting ready to Surf!

My crazy fun sister Candi - getting ready to go to the beach :-)
Coach JO
Here's Ashley at bball camp. I got yelled at during a water break for taking pictures so I didn't get many at bball camp. She learned a lot of different skills and loved the camp. (except for the running part...)

Relay For Life 2010

On Friday night we went up to Spencer for the Relay For Life in support of our Uncle Cory who is fighting pancreatic cancer. It was really hot outside and we were all sweating but it was a great time and I was so glad that Cory was able to be there and make that walk even though he wasn't feeling the best. We love you!
Here's some of the Prayer Army.
Here is a sign that Cory made showing the locations of his prayer army.
Special pic to Brad! (We tried to get Jake to stand in front of it for a pic to you but surprise he wouldn't cooperate)
Here's the front of the sign. Sandy, me, Mark, Rach, Lon, Todd, Justin & Cory

My favorite aunt and uncle
One of the signs I made for the camp site.
Here's the other sign I made.
The second lap of the Survivor Walk family and friends join in.
Here's Cory and Lorrie Lockwood - both cancer survivors walking the 1st lap of the Survivor Walk. Lorrie is Sandy's sister. (can you tell :-) - they look like twins)

Summer Pictures 2010

SURPRISE!! On Tuesday night we all met at Godfather's in Spencer for a surprise birthday party for Uncle Cory. It was a nice time and I think he was really surprised :-)
Happy Birthday Cory!!

Here he is walking in and realizing it's a surprise party for him.
Last night we had the vacation bible school program. Here's Ryan getting ready. The theme was Team Superheros.
My camera doesn't zoom well but here's Jacob not participating.
And here's Ryan after daddy taught him how to mow. I am not a huge fan of this idea, Ryan just loved it though.

Ryan's 2010 Baseball Team
Here's the team - daddy and Brian Scott were the coaches. Ryan did SO great!
He hit several home runs this season and had so much fun.
Hitting it WAY out there!

Visiting with the other team while covering 1st base.
Here's Bappa and Jacob at work.
